Targeting the cold market is actually much easier if you follow the “Marketing for Network Marketers” system as you will discover how to ONLY talk to people that are actively looking for what you have to offer.
“ONLY talk to people that are actively looking for what you have to offer”
Isn’t this such a strange concept…only talking to people that are already looking for what you have to offer instead of the conventional approach where you are told that EVERYONE needs what you have to offer.
Which would you prefer:
- Talking to someone that is not looking for what you have to offer and trying to convince them to buy your product or service? OR,
- Talking to someone already looking for and wanting what you have to offer?
I think the answer is simple…
Talking to everyone, or spraying and praying, as my friend used to call it is the biggest mistake you can make and what leads to all the rejection and failure in network marketing.
Example: Trying to sell make up for women to a rugby player. Sure you might be able to convince one or two men to try some eyeliner to have a more striking look but let’s be honest, you will probably get rejected more often than not but drastically improve your chances for success if you market the make up to a woman that is already looking for an amazing eyeliner that will help her get the look she is after.
Even better, targeting working women between the ages of 30-50 for example that can afford your product. The more specific you can be the better results you will achieve.
In the “Marketing for Network Marketers” course, you will discover how to develop your ideal client so that you only talk to the people that are most likely to buy your product or service!
TIP: You cannot be everything to everyone. Be specific in your marketing efforts and choose a specific market and develop your ideal client!
This is basic marketing but no one is teaching this…You have to know who your ideal client is and what solution your product or service is providing to your client. Who needs your product or service? Why do they need it? What pain are they experiencing…? What are the benefits of them using your product or service?
