I started my career in the wonderful Network Marketing industry where I learnt a great deal about the importance of passive income and building a business that will set you financially free.

But the learning curve was steep and I can still remember how shy I was when I first got started.

One of the biggest obstacles I faced was finding people to talk to about my business. Having to rely on cold calling and talking to random strangers about my new business.

As you can imagine, this was pretty difficult and very uncomfortable!

But to be honest, I found it easier talking to strangers about my business instead of friends and family as they didn’t know how unsuccessful I was at the time so I could just try and fake it until I made it.

I remember the pain and frustration of standing on the side of the road in the middle of a township promoting my business and doing presentations in the middle of nowhere!

I was desperate, and struggling!

The disappointment of driving 30 minutes to a presentation just for my prospect not to pitch. Spending the little money I had on coffees and lunches just to hear; “Sorry I can’t afford to join right now”, “Is this a pyramid?”, “I’m not a sales person” etc…

I was desperate for a better way, an easier, safer, more consistent, professional way to find new prospects for my business. A way to filter prospects and only spend my time on the ones that proved to me that they were serious…

It became my purpose and mission to find out how to get in front of the people that were actively looking for what I had to offer and how to get these people to contact me about my business instead of cold calling and talking to random strangers.

Looking back I am grateful for these experiences as the pain motivated me to develop my skills as an entrepreneur and online marketer in order to find an easier more consistent way to recruit new people into my business!

Today I own a multi-million rand business largely due to the marketing and business skills I developed over the years and I now have the freedom to do what I want, when I want and giving back to an industry that is very close to my heart – Network Marketing.
